Our beliefs is that Jesus is the son of God and that he came to save sinners. We believe he died and rose again the third morning. We believe he died to purchase the church not an organization. We believe that with the opportunity all should be baptised into his body/the church by submersion.
We believe in the verbal inspiration and inerrancy of the Scriptures and the authority of both the Old and New Testaments.
The triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct beings The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with The Father and The Holy Ghost.
We believe man was created in the image of God, but sinned and fell through disobedience, and that the entire human race shares in man's lost and depraved nature.
We believe Jesus, the eternal Son of God, was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, yet retained His absolute deity, being at the same time very God and very man.
We believe that atonement for sin was made by the sacrificial and substitutionary death of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the literal resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and His priestly intercession.
We believe salvation is the gift of God by grace alone and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that this faith is manifested in works pleasing to God.
The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
We believe the Holy Ghost is the Promise of the Father, the Comforter who indwells and places every believer in the Body of Christ, bestows spiritual gifts upon the Church and convicts the world of sin and the judgment to come.
While all believers are in-dwelt by the Spirit of God (Romans 8), we believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost is a definite endowment of power for service and is separate from conversion.
We believe that the ordinances of the church, by the command of Christ, are Water Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper / Feet Washing, all of which are administered to those who are born again.
We believe in the eternal salvation of the believers and in the eternal damnation and punishment of the nonbelievers. We believe that the consummation of all things includes the visible, personal and glorious return of Jesus Christ the "Blessed Hope" of the Church.
Being immersed in water, pictures the death of Jesus Christ dying for our sins. Being raised from the water is a portrayal of Jesus' resurrection in which He conquered sin and death.
Thus, being baptized by immersion, the believer visually shows the spiritual death, burial, and resurrection of the believer's life.
Baptism emphasizes to the new believer, and to those who witness the baptism, that as a Christian and child of God the Christian now is to live a Godly life, resisting sin, and not giving it a place in their lives.
Water baptisms are held throughout the year. Just speak to one of the Elders about the process
